I got 2 more pieces of terrain done. I made a crater and a water tower from polystyrene. I got the idea of a water tower from a photo I saw and I got some ideas from The Terrain Tutor (
TheTerrainTutor ).
For the crater I picked in the middle with a screwdriver and cut the polystyrene around the hole. I used PVA glue to stick some sand and the pieces of Landraider I cut into the one I have (Tower of Skulls project coming soon).
For the water tower I used a Christmas globe that I bought. I made some holes so that the straws can hold the polystyrene orb in place. With some toothpicks and universal glue I fixed the platforms around the sphere.
Then I primed everything with black and white.
I dry brushed the crater and I covered the whole orb with grey. I used metal color to make the water tower a little shiny. After that I used the crazy orange from Revel to cover the cracks in the polystyrene.
