Samus Aran from Metroid

This is one of my first prints, I didn't have my support settings right and most of the parts had to be sanded. She is 27 tall, her helmet is the size of a Space Marine. I bought the model from CGTrader.

Anycubic Photon S 3D printer

Recently, a friend printed some miniatures for me. 3D printing videos were more often on youtube, then I saw that Miniac got a printer. I visited the Anycubic web site a couple of times and on black friday they had the Photon S on sale. Sooo.... I bought a 3D printer.

The order arrived fast and I started printing.

I failed more than I printed. models would not stick.

At first I was frustrated, then my friend sanded the plate. here I go with test number 2.

It worked like a charm and I've been printing ever since.

I am happy with my printer. I print more that I can pain, but a lot of cool project are soon to come.
You can get a lot of free models from Thingiverse, but you can get really cool models from CGTrader. I also subscribed on Patreon to PrintYourMonsters and I get every month 5 units and a big monster.
