Happy birthday to Alien! In 1979 this masterpiece appeared and changed the Horror Sci-fi genre. Thank to H.R. Giger this perfect creature was brought to the big screen. As an honor, I painted an Alien King.
I sprayed the model with grey primer.
I sprayed the model with gloss black.
I airbrushed the model with cobalt blue.
I edge highlighted with different tones of grey then I dry-brushed the scales with Administratum grey.
I painted and highlighted the base.
Then I messed it up a bit.
For any Alien fans I recommend visiting Gigers museum in Switzerland. You are not allowed to take pictures inside but you can have a beer in the Giger bar next door.
