End of game
Skaven win.

The Foulrain Congregation is good, use it to shoot at strong unit. Plague Monks can hit hard but after they will die, a lot of them. Verminlord Corruptor is for killing small units, he would have been perfect for the Grots.

Khorne Tower of Skulls

I found in an older Apocalypse book a model that is no longer sold so I decided to make one of my own. A while back I bought a fortress with a lot of walls and towers. I took one of the towers, drilled a big hole in it, inserted a plastic pipe and added a gun head from a Lord of Skulls. On the sides I added Ectoplasma Cannons from a Forgefiend. From Miliput I made some Chaos symbols, using a rolling pin from greenstuffworld, and glued them to the tower.

    • 2 x Tyrannofex equipped with Fleshborer Hive and Stinger Salvo

The Deployment:
I payed 2 command points to use the Forward Operatives stratagem on the Berserker squads. All the Havocs are inside a building with Abbadon.
My adversary set his Hive Guards in bunkers along with an HQ.

Chaos Space Marines Turn 1:
Berserkers emerge 9" away from the Tyranofex assault it and leave it in 10 wounds. The other Berserkers leave only one Termagaunt alive. Havocs and Lord of Skulls take out a Tyranofex and a Zoanthrope. Lord of Skulls then assaults the Hormagaunts and kills most of them. Chaos Lord drops to hold an objective.

Tyranids Turn 1:
Tyranofex disengages the Berserkers and they are all killed by the Exocrine and Hive Guards. Lord of Skulls takes 8 wounds from Smite and it's assaulted by the Zoanthropes. Tyranid Prime attacks the Berserkers but they retaliate and leave him in only one wound.

Chaos Space Marines Turn 2:
Havocs kill a squad of Hive Guards. Lord of Skulls kills a Zoanthrope. Chaos Lord kills the Tyranid Prime. Berserkers fail to kill the Tyranofex.

Tyranids Turn 2:
Tyranofex disengages the Berserkers that are killed by the Hive Guards. Exocrine kills the Chaos Lord. Zoanthropes smite for 5 more damage.

Chaos Space Marines Turn 3:
Havocs kill the Tyranofex which explodes and wounds the bunker and the Tyranid Prime. Lord of Skulls kills one of the Zoanthropes.

Tyranids Turn 3:
Zoanthropes disengage and everybody shoots at the Lord of Skulls with a total of 14 wounds.

Chaos Space Marines Turn 4:
Havocs kill a Zoanthrope which are finished in combat by the Lord of Skulls. The big guy also shoots at the Exocrine and does a lot of damage.

Tyranids Turn 4:
Hive Guards and Exocrine move and shoot but managed to kill only one Havoc. I fail to wound the bunker with the Lord of Skulls.

Chaos Space Marines Turn 5:
Havocs kill the Exocrine which explodes and further wounds the Tyranid Prime and a Hive Guard. Rest of the Havocs shot at the bunker doing 5 wounds. Lord of Skulls destroys the bunker and goes for the second one.

Tyranids Turn 5:
Hive Guards embark the bunker and wound once the Lord of Skulls.

Game ends 5-1 for Chaos. I liked my list, I felt it was balanced in terms of shooting and close combat. I enjoyed the game, it was a good training match. Those Zoanthropes were a pain, they saved mode than 100 wounds.

REVIEW: Mierce Miniatures - Krull, Servile Lord of Dis

I wanted to buy this miniature for a long time, now I finally did it. I bought the model directly from Mierce Miniatures but it can also be purchased from Element Games. The model costs £132.99 and you get free shipping. The miniature arrived in a very well packed box, none of the spikes and long bits were bent. In the box you will find a body, 2 wings, a bag of bits and a 120 mm round base.
The production quality of the model has been improved a lot. First of all I didn't see any mold mismatch as seen in this older unboxing video and the body is now just one piece instead of two.
The model need some cleaning but the detail on it is absolutely amazing.
The wings have an incredible nice leathery texture.
Details on the fingers and the had are stunning.
Slaanesh would be very happy to own this model since it has testicles. You don't see that at Games Workshop.

I have one issue, it doesn't have a piece of paper with how all the accessories should look since some of the bits can be incorrectly removed from the sprue.
Overall it's a fantastic model and I am happy to add it to my collection.

Lucius the eternal goes on holiday

I went to Cyprus on holiday and I found Lucius the eternal there. We met in a cool place called Isengard. He promised epic battles so I bought him.
