Tyranids Turn 2:
Again all models moved up. The Hive Guards managed to kill a couple of Bloodletters and the Gargoyles killed a Possessed. Flyrant and Gargoyles did not assault in order to get an objective. Bloodcrushers manage to kill al the 'gaunts.

Khorne Daemonkin Turn 2:
The Cyclopia Cabal, Herald and Bloodcrushers star moved towards the Swarmlord, take control of the Hive Guards and manage to kill another model from the other unit of Guards. Cabal star assaults, losses 2 Bloodcrushers but kills the Swarmlord and his unit. The other squad of Bloodcrushers kills the Hive Guards but they also suffer a casualty. Bloodletters, Possessed and Terminators assault the Flyrant and manage to kill all the Gargoyles.

Tyranids Turn 3:
Carnifex assaults the Cabal star and die. Venomthropes assault the single Bloodcrusher and die. Termagant assault and manage to kill a big bunch of Bloodletters. Hive Tyrant remains with only one wound.

Khorne Daemonkin Turn 3:
I sacrifice the Terminator Champion to get a Bloodthirster. Cabal star kills the Hive Tyrants in the building in the middle. Flyrant finally dies after a million successful Feel no Pains. Opponent is left with only a squad of Termagant and concedes.

Eldar Turn 1:
Infiltrated Kabalites moved a bit closer to the Bloodcrushers and manages to kill one and get another wound on another. Night Spinners got 2 wounds on 2 Sorcerers and Rangers failed at wounding the Bloodcrushers.

Khorne Daemonkin Turn 1:
Bloodcrushers with bikers move close to the Culexus assaulting and killing him but the Bloodhunter dies in challenge. The other squad of Bloodcrushers assault the Kabalites and kill them. One of the Knights hands shoots at the Rangers and kills one, the other shoots at the batteries but no wounds.

Eldar Turn 2:
Both D-flamers squads join the fight and with perfect deepstrike they get in 2 of the Knights facings but getting only one hull point off. The other squad went for the Sorcerers and with the help of the other Wraithguards and the Windriders kill until only one Sorcerer and a Bloodcrusher remains. Night Spinners manage to kill the other squad of Bloodcrushers.

Khorne Daemonkin Turn 2:
Terminators join the fight but not for long since they mishap and are placed in the corner of the board. Knight moves close to the D-flamers, heavy flamers and one hand shoots at the ones close to him leaving only one left alive, the other hand kills one D-flames and the Archon. Then he charges the D-flamer and loses 4 hull points in overwatch but manages to kill the entire squad. I get Enfeeble and Shroud of Deceit on the Wraithguards and shoot with them at the Night Spinners, no wounds. Then Bloodcrusher and Sorcerer assault the Wraithguards leaving only one model.

Eldar Turn 3:
Night Spinners go towards the my table edge. Bikes move and turbo-bust behind the Knight. Last Wraithguard dies. Ignore the Flesh Hounds in the photo, I got to place them before taking the photo.

I summon a pack of Flesh Hounds. Knight kills the bikes and Guardian from the batteries. Bloodcrusher and Sorcerer assault the Rangers and get warlord kill.

Eldar Turn 5:
Kabalites and Night Spinner manage to kill the Sorcerer and the Flesh Hounds.

Khorne Daemonkin Turn 5:
Knight kills Kabalites.

Game ends in a draw, 8-8.
Good game, I thought I was going to be wiped out in turn 2 but with a lot of lucky saves I managed to pull a draw.

Brick building

I bought a big piece of cardboard foam and I cut the walls and levels. I glued them all together and fixed them with pins.
I sprayed it with grey primer.
I gave the building a coat of orange.
I painted the rails with metallic paint and I gave the building another coat of orange.
Next I started to draw the bricks and made some bolts on the rails with silver but they are not visible in the photo.

Tyranid terrain

I got new hot glue gun so I put it to work making 2 Tyranid terrain pieces. For these I used airsoft balls, a ping-pong ball, toothpicks, plastic tubes, cork, polystyrene and Lotus pods.
And this is the result.
I sprayed them with grey primer.
Then I painted the inside of the lotus, under the lotus and the top of the trees with purple.
I painted the base with yellow.
Next I dry-brushed with pink.
I painted the top of the lotus with green, dry-brushed under the flower and on the trunk with green, dry-brushed with white on the base and the eggs, painted brown the toothpicks and washed with red and blue some areas.

  • Manticore equipped with Camo Netting, Heavy Bolter, 4x Storm Eagle Rocket
 The Deployment:
Imperial Guard deployed as close as possible to the table edge. Flesh Hounds did scout moves. Bloodletters are in reserves.

 Khorne Daemonkin Turn 1:
Bikes, Flesh Hounds and Rhino moved 12, then ran or tubo-boosted.

 Imperial Guard Turn 1:
Veterans disembark and everybody starts shooting, killing a couple of Flesh Hounds and immobilizing the Rhino.

 Khorne Daemonkin Turn 2:
Again Flesh Hounds and bikes move 12" and get in assault range. Space Marines in the Rhino fail their pinning test. One squad of dogs took out one of the tanks, the other charged the Guardsmen bloob. The Chaos Lord and his squad of bikes make it into combat with the bloob, but the other squad of bikes fail the charge leaving them out in the open. My adversary had 4+ re-rollable save from the majority of the attacks and a 5+ feel no pain and the squad is fearless so not that many Guardsmen died. I also realized that I forgot my reserves.

 Imperial Guard Turn 2:
Pask, one of the Leman Russes and Manticore kill a couple of bikes. Lascannons wreck the Rhino. One of the tanks gets a direct hit on the dogs killing a lot of them. Veterans also kill some Flesh Hounds and assault the last remaining model, winning the combat. In the bloob combat some more Guardsmen die and some Flesh Hounds get wounded. At this point my Warlord had S10 AP2 from the artefact.

 Khorne Daemonkin Turn 3:
I summoned a squad of Bloodletters and my reserves came to battle. Bikes shot the Veterans and assaulted them, slaughtering every last one of them. A few more Guardsmen die and the Ministorum Priest blocks all the attacks from my Warlord.

 Imperial Guard Turn 3:
Chimera kills one of the bikes. The other tanks shoot the Chaos Space Marines, most of them failed miserably. Lascannons also shoot at the Marines. Since I was going to get out of combat with my lord and I had so many units, my opponent called it.

In conclusion, I had fun, my opponent probably not as much as me. Gorepack is a good, fast formation, but I hate that it lacks AP. I was stuck in combat for 3 turns because of this, a squad of Bloodcrushers would have finished them much faster.
